A little win
I’m proud that I was able to make progress across multiple areas today without neglecting the things that matter. I coded and made meaningful progress on Refjou, attended my meetings, worked toward improving my typing speed to 35 WPM, read Proverbs 7 and researched its main message, and made time to meditate. I’m especially proud of the Refjou work because I went beyond surface-level UI changes and implemented proper server-side validation and an atomic Firestore transaction for username changes. That pushed me to think more like an engineer concerned with data integrity and reliability, not just making features look good.
For tomorrow
Tomorrow, I want to improve my consistency and depth of focus. I want to spend less time simply moving between tasks and more time doing focused, deliberate work on the highest-priority task. I also want to continue improving my typing speed toward 35 WPM, maintain my reading and meditation, and make sure I properly understand what I build instead of rushing through implementation. Most importantly, I want tomorrow's work to be intentional rather than just busy.
